Terms and conditions
Please ensure you read the terms and conditions prior to paying the deposit for your session. By booking with Katrin Vashkevich Photography you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. APPLICABLE LAW
The laws of England & Wales shall govern this agreement. These Terms and Conditions shall not be varied except by agreement in writing. In the event of any conflict between these terms and conditions (including those relating to the time of payment) and those issued or submitted by the CLIENT and in the absence of any contrary agreement in writing these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
2. COPYRIGHT & REPRODUCTION
All images are copyrighted to Katrin Vashkevich Photography. No image or content of this website can be copied, scanned or reproduced in any form whatsoever without the prior consent of Katrin Vashkevich Photography. When the CLIENT purchases images from Katrin Vashkevich Photography he gets printing license to use the images for the personal use only.
3. USE OF PICTURES
Katrin Vashkevich Photography reserves the right to use the pictures taken during the photo session for the purposes of advertising or promotion of its work. This includes on Katrin Vashkevich Photography website, social media or marketing materials. If you do not want your images to be used for these purposes please inform Katrin Vashkevich Photography prior to your photo shoot.
4. BOOKING
A booking fee secures the time and services of Katrin Vashkevich Photography. Session dates and times are not secured until a deposit has been paid.
5. PAYMENTS
The final balance is due before or on the day of your photo shoot. You can pay online, by bank transfer, cash, credit or debit card.
No photographs will be delivered until all payments due have been paid in full. Payment for additional images is to be made when they are ordered.
*A travel fee may apply to sessions located outside Cambridge.
6. CANCELLATION
The Client may cancel a booking at any time by giving written notice to Katrin Vashkevich Photography.
Your deposit is refundable up to 72 hours before your session date, after this time it becomes non-refundable but transferable should you wish to change the date.
If for any reason Katrin Vashkevich Photography has to cancel your photo shoot you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
7. RETURNS POLICY
Incorrectly supplied items can be returned and will be replaced at no extra charge to the CLIENT.
Returns will not be considered for incorrectly ordered items or items ordered in error.
8. ARTISTIC INPUT
Katrin Vashkevich Photography shall be entitled to use its judgement regarding the style and artistic input in the production of pictures.
Katrin Vashkevich Photography fully edits all images before presenting them to the CLIENT. Any additional edit requests MUST be raised by the CLIENT at the proofing stage. Requests not raised at the proofing stage will not be considered once products have been ordered.
The CLIENT is responsible for all children at all sessions.
9. DIGITAL IMAGES
Katrin Vashkevich Photography will provide a final gallery of high-resolution images without watermarks. The images can be printed and reproduced for personal use only. You are not entitled to use the images for commercial gain, except business photography.
Your photos will be supplied to you within 3 weeks. During busy times such as Christmas or Summer there may be additional waiting time on orders. You will be advised at the time of your photo shoot and given an approximate delivery date. If you need your images by a certain date please inform Katrin Vashkevich Photography at the time of your photo shoot.
All images are professionally edited, this includes removing minor blemishes such as scratches and bruises.
When printing your photos please note Katrin Vashkevich Photography cannot be held responsible for poor quality prints from high street or online printers. Katrin Vashkevich Photography can provide you with professional prints.
It is your responsibility to ensure you have made a backup of the images. Katrin Vashkevich Photography cannot be held responsible and is not under any obligation to provide the images again if your images become corrupt, lost or damaged. Images are kept for a 2 months period at the discretion of Katrin Vashkevich Photography.
Please note that we do not provide RAW files, you will receive the best images that will be fully edited and you can use them for your personal printing needs and for social media use. We make sure every product that leaves our studio is representative of our brand. Raw files are just the starting point to the final image.
The CLIENT is responsible for all children at all sessions.
